EVA Foam Sealing Strip — Seal It, Stick It, Forget the Noise

Our EVA foam sealing strip is a closed-cell self-adhesive foam tape engineered to seal gaps against water, dust, draught and noise. The dense closed-cell structure will not absorb water, so the strip keeps its sealing force in humid, dusty and outdoor conditions instead of swelling or rotting like open-cell sponge.

Supplied on a 30 m standard roll with thickness from 3 mm to 20 mm, the strip compresses easily into uneven gaps and springs back without permanent set. A strong adhesive backing is pre-applied — simply peel the liner and press. No glue gun, no primer, no drilling, no residue when removed.

We have been moulding and cutting foam in-house since 2008. Every roll is cut on our own CNC line, so widths, thicknesses and profiles stay consistent from the first metre to the last.

Closed-cell structure.Cut the strip open and you see thousands of independent sealed cells. Water and dust cannot travel through them, which is what makes this foam a true barrier rather than just a cushion. Open-cell sponge soaks up moisture; ours does not.

High elasticity.The strip bends around corners and compresses into tight gaps, then recovers its original thickness. It stays soft across a wide service range, so the seal does not go hard and crack in cold weather or turn sticky in heat.

Clean-peel adhesive backing.The white release liner peels away in one clean pull. The adhesive grips metal, glass, painted timber, aluminium profile and most rigid plastics, yet lifts off without leaving a sticky film behind — important for equipment doors and rented premises.

Smooth moulded skin.The outer surface is a fine, uniform moulded skin, not a rough sawn face. That gives an even contact surface against the mating part and a neater finished appearance on visible edges.

Installation in 4 steps — no tools needed

1.Clean the mounting surface. Wipe off dust, oil and moisture, then let it dry.

2.Measure and cut the strip to length with scissors or a knife. Cut slightly long for corners.

3.Peel back the release liner a few centimetres and align the strip with the edge.

4.Press firmly along the whole length as you peel the rest of the liner away.

Allow the adhesive to build full strength before closing the door or loading the joint. Work above room temperature where possible — cold surfaces reduce initial tack.
